Electric accompanied by tropical three layers of co-extrusion technology advantages

Author:

The three-layer co-extrusion of electric heating tape is composed of a resistance heating layer, a semiconductor transition layer and an insulating layer, which are arranged in three layers and extruded at one time by an extruder. In the early production technology of electric heating tape, the resistance heating layer and the semiconductor transition layer are first extruded and formed at one time, which is called a "core tape", and then processed again to extrude the insulating layer, which belongs to secondary molding. The three-layer co-extrusion technology of electric heating tape can mainly solve the problem that the surface of the core tape is uneven, causing bulges or air gaps, resulting in electric field concentration and local discharge. It is conducive to improving the distribution of the electric field so that the resistance heating layer and the insulating layer can fit closely. Whether it is the three-layer co-extrusion technology or the traditional secondary molding technology, their irradiation process effects will basically not produce much difference.

The production technology of three-layer co-extrusion of electric heating cables is relatively mature in China and has been developed for a long time, such as three-layer co-extrusion blown film and three-layer co-extrusion of cables. Therefore, manufacturers with a certain scale can basically realize the three-layer co-extrusion technology of heating cables. However, in order to reduce production costs, some manufacturers have removed the processing of the semiconductor transition layer. The disadvantage is that it is easy to cause no heat or short circuit fire, which greatly shortens the life of the heating cable.

The three-layer co-extrusion technology of electric heating cables has more advantages than traditional technology. The three-layer co-extruded electric heating cables with resistance heating layer, semiconductor transition layer and insulation layer are formed at one time, with good compactness, smooth appearance, high brightness and gloss; no gaps, bulges and other phenomena will occur. The resistance heating layer and semiconductor transition layer of electric heating cables with traditional technology are extruded first, and then the insulation layer is extruded, and then formed for the second time; the appearance is relatively rough, dull and matte, and it is easy to produce unevenness or gaps and other phenomena. Therefore, when choosing electric heating cables, users should choose those with three-layer co-extrusion technology, which will have better effects.
