    The temperature sensor installed on the pipeline will be transmitted to the temperature control instrument in the intelligent temperature control distribution box through the signal cable, the temperature control meter will compare the received temperature with the set temperature, when the current temperature is greater than the set temperature, the electric heat tracing will not work, when the current temperature is less than the set temperature, the electric heat tracing will start working, in order to avoid frequent start-up, a return difference will generally be set, the distribution box can also be connected with the central control room or DCS system by remote communication, and the start and stop of the electric heat trace can be observed and controlled at the remote end.

    ► Construction and installation

    Installation specification steps: check whether the surface of the pipeline is polished smooth and free of burrs and sharp edges, dry and free of dirt; Check whether the paint inside the pipe is dry and the gas has evaporated for more than 3 weeks; Check whether the corresponding heating tracing materials and accessories are consistent with the materials in the design table; Check whether the materials required for construction are in good condition, etc.
    Construction and installation points: the installation of electric heat tracing on the pipeline generally adopts the way of straight laying or winding, during installation, every interval of 300-600mm is fixed with heat-resistant pressure-sensitive tape, after the installation is completed, along the direction of the electric heat tracing is covered with a layer of aluminum foil tape, which is used to increase the heating area of the pipeline, the power junction box and the temperature sensor are fixed on the pipeline with stainless steel tape, and the two-way junction box and the three-way junction box can be fixed with heat-resistant pressure-sensitive tape when the temperature is not high. When the temperature is higher than 200°C, it is generally fixed with stainless steel cable ties.
