Alloy 825 Sheathed Armored Heating Cable is a metal sheathed, mineral insulated (MI) cable designed to provide heating solutions for applications in a variety of industries. MI heating cables are typically used when high power output, exposure to high temperatures, or extreme resistance to environmental corrosion are required.
Typical applications include: pipeline antifreeze, process temperature maintenance, long-line heating
Alloy 825 MI electric heating cable can meet the needs of high temperature heating and high power (up to 269W/m) under certified regional classification and design. Its maximum withstand temperature can reach 800℃, and the conductor resistance ranges from 28000-19.2Ω/km.
2. Copper-nickel sheathed mineral insulated heating cable
Copper-nickel alloy sheathed mineral insulated heating cable can meet the needs of high temperature conditions and long-distance pipeline heating. Its maximum withstand temperature can reach 450℃, the conductor resistance range is from 28000-19.2Ω/km, and it has excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
3. Copper sheathed mineral insulated heating cable
Copper sheathed mineral insulated heating cables can meet the needs of high temperature conditions and long-distance pipeline heating. The maximum withstand temperature of copper sheathed heating cables can reach 250°C, and the conductor resistance ranges from 480-0.5Ω/km. For occasions requiring corrosion protection or buried applications, high-density polyethylene HDPE outer sheath (MIHC) is required, and the maximum withstand temperature of MIHC can reach 90°C.
4. Stainless steel sheathed mineral insulated heating cable
Mineral insulated (MI) heating cable stainless steel sheath series mineral insulated heating cable can meet the needs of high temperature conditions and large heating power (up to 269W/m). The high-endurance temperature of stainless steel sheath heating cable can reach 600℃, and the conductor resistance value ranges from 28000-19.2Ω/km. Mineral insulated cable has excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
5. H600 alloy sheathed mineral insulated heating cable
YMI mineral insulated heating cable H600 alloy sheath series mineral insulated heating cable can meet the needs of high temperature conditions and large heating power (up to 269W/m). The maximum withstand temperature of H600 alloy sheath heating cable can reach 800℃, and the conductor resistance value ranges from 28000-19.2Ω/km. Mineral insulated cable has excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
6. HDPE mineral insulated heating cable
HDPE sheathed mineral insulated heating cable can meet the needs of long-distance pipeline heating. Its maximum withstand temperature can reach 90℃, and the maximum maintenance temperature can reach 65℃. It has excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
► Product Features
1. The maximum temperature limit of the heating cable itself is the maximum temperature that the core and the metal outer sheath can withstand. The maximum temperature that can withstand is 800℃.
2. The insulation layer is magnesium oxide, and the core and sheath are made of metal, which fundamentally solves the aging problem and extends the service life of the cable to the greatest extent. It can be used for decades under specified conditions.
3. The product adopts different outer sleeves to resist the corrosion of oils, solvents and most acids. It has good chemical stability, resistance to solar radiation and nuclear radiation.
4. Good mechanical properties, due to its strong structure, it can withstand twisting, extrusion, bending, pulling, friction and general rough handling.
5. It adopts series resistance type electric heating element, so the heat is even, the temperature difference of the whole length is very small, and the heating power is large, generally between 20~300W/m.
6. The heating power is large, generally above 50W/m. The cable is not in danger of freezing due to the stop of steam supply like the steam heating pipeline. Just turn on the power when needed.
7. Resistant to low temperatures, easy to construct and maintain in winter.
8. Since the heating cable is made entirely of non-combustible inorganic substances, the product is fireproof, flame retardant, does not release toxic gases, and has zero combustion energy. It is more energy-saving and environmentally friendly.
9. The metal sheath has excellent explosion-proof and electromagnetic shielding properties and can also serve as a grounding loop.
10. Mineral insulated heating cables are prohibited from being crossed or overlapped during installation. MI cold end connectors are prohibited from being bent, and the cold end and junction box should be placed outside the insulation layer.
11. High mechanical strength
High-strength metal tube is used as the sheath, which forms a dense whole with the conductor and mineral insulating powder during the processing. It has a solid structure, high mechanical strength, and is resistant to mechanical extrusion and bending.
12. Stable physical and chemical properties
The constituent materials are all inorganic materials with good thermal stability. When used at rated temperature and set environment, their mechanical, physical and chemical properties such as structure, conductivity, dielectric strength and chemical composition are quite stable.
13. Small temperature difference between inside and outside
The thermal resistance coefficient of magnesium oxide insulation is 3-5 times smaller than that of most organic insulation materials. The smaller thermal resistance can rapidly transfer heat from the internal conductor to the metal sheath, so the temperature difference between the conductor and the sheath surface is very small, allowing a larger current density.
14. High electric-heat conversion efficiency
Using the thermal effect principle of electric current (Joule-Lenz law), pure resistance heating can convert almost 100% of electrical energy into heat energy.
15. Convenient electrical control
The working voltage is 50-60HZ industrial frequency power supply. ON/OFF or PID temperature control can be selected according to actual needs. It has mature technology, reliable operation and low maintenance.
16. Corrosion resistance
The best corrosion resistance can be achieved by selecting appropriate metal sheath materials according to the temperature of the operating environment and the corrosive medium.
17. Radiation resistance
The inorganic materials used have good radiation resistance. Literature shows that when this type of cable operates at 200℃-700℃ and a neutron flux of 1021 neutrons/cm2, its technical performance does not actually change, and it can be used in the core radiation area of a nuclear power plant.
