    The temperature sensor installed on the pipeline transmits the sensed temperature to the temperature control instrument in the intelligent temperature control distribution box through the signal cable. When the current temperature is less than the set temperature, the electric heating will start to work. In order to avoid frequent startup, a hysteresis is generally set. The distribution box can also be connected to the central control room or DCS system by remote communication, so that the start and stop of the electric heating tape can be observed and controlled remotely.

    ► Construction and installation

    Installation specification steps: Check whether the pipeline surface is polished smooth without burrs and sharp edges, dry and free of dirt; check whether the paint inside the pipeline is completely dry and the gas has evaporated for more than 3 weeks; check whether the corresponding heating tape materials and accessories are consistent with the materials in the design table; check whether the materials required for construction are intact, etc.

    Key points of construction and installation: Electric heating tape is generally installed on the pipeline by direct laying or winding. During installation, it is fixed with heat-resistant pressure-sensitive tape every 300-600mm. After the installation is completed, a layer of aluminum foil tape is covered along the direction of the electric heating tape to increase the heating area of ​​​​the pipeline. The power junction box and temperature sensor are fixed to the pipeline with stainless steel tape. When the temperature of the two-way junction box and the three-way junction box is not high, it can be fixed with heat-resistant pressure-sensitive tape. When the temperature is higher than 200℃, it is generally fixed with stainless steel tie tape.
