    The heating mat adopts a double-conductor heating structure, with a metal heating core covered with a fluoropolymer material insulation layer and embedded with a reinforced aluminum mat. The overall thickness of the heating mat is thin, which can effectively reduce the floor height and increase human comfort.

    Heating mats are suitable for heating in wooden floors, laminate floors, and underfloor heating. When installing the mat system, it can be cut arbitrarily according to the requirements of the coverage area, or multiple mat systems can work together to cover large areas. In addition, insulation devices are required, especially when installed on concrete floors. There are multiple powers of 80W/m² and 100W/m² to choose from, of which 150W/m² can be used as the main heat source for home floor heating.

    1. Ground preparation

    The ground must be clean and flat, without sharp objects such as nails and staples. A wire groove should be pre-cut below the junction box to allow the cold wire and sensor wire to pass through the wire groove and connect to the junction box.

    2. Unfold the mat

    Unfold the mat according to the pre-designed drawing, and make sure the cold wire is close to the junction box. Remove the plastic lining of the mat, unfold the mat completely, and temporarily fix it in place with the adhesive side facing down.

    3. Determine the location of the cold line

    When laying, the cold wire needs to be placed as close to the junction box as possible. It must not overlap with the mat, must not cross the heating wire, and must not be higher than the mat.

    4. Place the temperature sensor

    Place the probe in the middle of the gap in the heating cable, about 4 inches from the loop, and pass the sensor through the wall trough to the junction box.

    5. Resistance test

    Before pouring cement, insulation resistance test, heating cable resistance test and sensor resistance test should be carried out to ensure that the heating cable and temperature sensor are intact.

    6. Pour cement mortar

    To ensure the uniformity of cement pouring, some special tools can be used for construction. The pouring thickness should refer to the heating standard. Too thick will affect the heating effect, and too thin will affect the ground load.

    7. Install tiles or stones

    Before installing the final floor covering, test that the heating mat has not been damaged between the time the floor covering is installed and the time the floor covering is installed. Measure the resistance again and test it with power. Now the final floor covering can be installed. Be careful not to damage the heating mat. Do not drive nails or screws into the floor covering and the heating mat. If the floor covering is not installed immediately, the heating mat must be protected with cardboard to prevent damage. Before the floor covering is installed, test the heating mat to ensure that it has not been damaged.

    8. Connect the thermostat

    After installation, connect the thermostat and test the entire floor heating system to ensure it reaches a comfortable temperature. The thermostat should be used together with the floor temperature sensor to accurately monitor the temperature on the floor and the room temperature to ensure safe and comfortable heating.
