The skin effect electric heating is basically composed of four parts: transmission pipe, heat tracing pipe, heat-resistant cable, insulation layer and outer protective layer. The oil pipeline and the skin electric heat tracing pipe are filled with thermal conductive mud, and the skin electric heat tracing pipe is welded on the main pipeline every other section to play the role of fixing and heat conduction. The heat tracing distance of one power point can be up to 24 km. The effective maintenance temperature can reach 0~230°C. The heat trace pipe can be prefabricated in the factory, which reduces the amount of engineering and shortens the engineering cycle.

► Skin-effect heating system
The main components of the skin effect heating system: intelligent temperature control distribution box, skin heat pipe, power junction box, two-way junction box, terminal junction box, temperature sensor, stainless steel cable tie, glass fiber tape, insulation layer, etc.
► How it works
The so-called skin effect is a phenomenon that when the alternating current passes through the carbon steel conductor, the current gradually tends to the surface of the conductor, and the proximity effect is an electromagnetic phenomenon between a pair of electric currents with a reverse current, and when the current passes between the cable and the heat pipe in the heating pipe, this heat is the heat required for heat tracing.
► Construction and installation
The carbon steel pipe and the pipe are welded together, the skin cable is threaded into the carbon steel pipe, and the carbon steel pipe is shorted to the skin cable at the end end, and the head end is connected to the power supply. The carbon steel pipe and the pipe are filled with thermally conductive cement to increase the heat dissipation area.
Due to the fact that the pipes of skin heating are generally relatively long, mostly several kilometers, the requirements for signal transmission and power supply are extremely high in this case. Remote communication is achieved through optical fiber or PLC systems.
